Rashes adalah MUSUH utama Baby !

Terpaksa story sikit dalam blog, coz last week my baby had problems with heat rashes kat muka dia. Before that jugak, ada problems with nappy rashes ! So, I wanna share here how I encountered that problems

My baby sebenarnya tak pernah ada problems with nappy rash sejak newborn. I sebolehnya memang rajin and kerap tukar pampers dia, walau malas mcm mana sekalipun nak bangun tengah malam... I akan tuka and basuh kat paip ! Maksudnya x basuh guna baby wipes, lap2 macam tu jer. Even masa baby, tapi nasib baik dia jenis keras and senang pegang ! Tapi yang kesian, dia laung jugak laa... bila terkena air sejuk ! Ahh takpe nangis sikit jer, xleh ajar manja2 sangat ;D Masa newborn, my baby selalu kalau terkena air time tuka nappy/ dia nangis nak minum susu .. bunyi rentak nangis dia mcm ni " Giiiii" ... kelakar x .. "Gi" tu slang orang kelate maksud nya Pergi ... mcm suruh I pegi buat susuuuu cepat2 hehe

Nappy Rash

I dah guna quite a few creams for nappy rashes ...

Masa dia lahir till umur dia 3 bulan ,... I guna Nappy Cream from Buds. Price dia dlm RM30+. This cream contains Sunflower Oil, Vitamen E & Bisabolol. Its an organic product actually. So far I guna this cream memang tak pernah naik rashes ... satu bintik merah pun xde. Clean & Clear ! One more thing, sejak my baby lahir, memang I setia dengan Pampers Huggies for Newborn. Pampers tu pun sgt best I rasa... till ada sekali tu maybe I terlambat change nappy .. masa tu my baby dah masuk 3 bulan .. ada laa naik rashes sikit kat tepi2. I ignore jer awal2 ... Plus, masa tu I try tuka pampers ke MAMI POKO !  pastu makin merebak, sampai kat tengah2 dah. I buat slumber jugak ... tapi I try la tuka ke Drapolene coz this cream is quite famous ... tapi x jadi jugak ! My advice for mothers out there... jangan beli MAMI POKO ! dah la nipis, my baby memang selalu bocor pakai pampers tu. Pakai Huggies, x pernah bocor pun ! Till now, I setia dgn Huggies... baby dah besar so sekarang pakai Huggies Ultra, 100% satisfied !

Pasal nappy rash tu...sometimes, I selang seli letak bedak sebab powder ni actually can absorb moisture ... creme sbnrnya untuk prevent jer lebih... sebelom terkena rashes tu. I guna Carrie yang ada corn starch mmg for nappy rash treatment. Bedak ni jugak I selalu letak bawah leher and di setiap lipatan2 yang ada... badan dia memang totally 100% no rashes. Awal2 memang nampak improvement... pastu naik balik and getting worse ! My baby tak pernah nangis pun pasal tu.. kalau I basuh pun dia x nangis.. so x tau that rashes menyakitkan ke x ;(

Then I was being told by my sister (she's a doctor) tuka cream yang ada Zinc Oxide ! .. oh now I know anything yang ada Zinc Oxide can help with rashes. I try la beli creame tu, recommended by pharmacist kat farmasi tu ... Egozite (contain 15% zinc oxide). Tapi hampa... no effects! One day I nekad, nak bawak gi klinik, coz my sister sebelom ni pun her daughter had the same problem ... bila dah teruk sbnrnya dah ada bacterial infection. So, the doc gave me that creame ... Candid B (contain steroid!) so small amount masa apply and thrice a day jer pakai together with Candid* (not Candid B coz the creme is already strong) powder untuk treatment. Alhamdulillah, now dah cure ;) 

Heat Rash

My baby got heat rashes on his face, last week. X prnah2 naik ke muka. Masa umur sebulan mcm tu naik sikit2 kt kepala. I only used ezerra cream, memang sekejap jer hilang. I rasa sebab I bwk dia ke hulu ke hilir cr brng rumah d hujung minggu, panas yang terlampauu... ngeee~ I was worried ! Suddenly rasa rinduu sgt2 kat muka dia yang licin tu :( Rashes kat muka dia sgt teruk for me, muka dia jd merah2 berbijik and some part kering ! Mirip rupa kucing pun ada, kucing yang comot ! :p

Try letak Ezerra memang no effect ! I buat research over the net, most ped akan bg Hydrocortisone cream ! I malas sbnrnya nak bwk gi jumpa any docs regarding heat rashes, coz its normal among babies. X pyh laa nk beriya sgt kan. Kalau demam ke apa of course terus kna bawak jumpa Dr. ASAP ! heee ~ 

I know that, hydrocortisone ni too strong for babies coz it contains steroid !So at first,  I tried that Calamine cream ( contains Zinc Oxide) dulu before guna hydrocortisone, but no changes ! Makin jd kering ada laaa..  Jadi sebab geramm sgt, terus I appy hydrocortisone ! Sekali dua jer.. sebab takut jgk sbnrnya . Jgn buat main dgn chemicals...hee ~  Alhamdulillah better !  Creame ni pki thin layer sekali jer pun teruss hilang, within days! Because it contains steroid, so don't use it often.

Furniture Hunting ~ SSF

Hi all ;)

Waah dah lama rasanya tak update, sorry .. been busy with works n my baby mcm biasa ;)
Bukan senang nak manage two blogs ! Sekarang baru tau... rasa mcm nak tarik balik pulak .. xnak buat blog ni.. hee hee

Well well well...In this post nak crita lagi pasal SSF ! n nak share a few pics yang di curik2 snap , mcm biasa ;) Perabot I dah ada sikit2, cuma nak cari lampu, and dining table. Sofa n kerusi sampingan dah beli dekat SSF. yeay ! Everytime pegi SSF memang x puas nak bernafas.. rasa macam takleh tarik nafas dah ! Sesiapa yang selalu pegi SSF dah sedia maklum, brng2 dia sgt2 cantik laa... xpuas tgk ! So far, tempat yang I survey, SSF paling byk barang ala2 'Shabby Chic" and English Style ! Range price mmg a bit expensive than other stores ... especially the perabot ! Pernah pergi x SSF kat Bandar Sri Damansara ? Kat Situ la SSF yang showroom nya paling cantik ... masuk pun kena take off shoes ... shopping kt situ mmg feels like at home ! (Bila baca balik ayat yang I type , byk sgt tanda seru... terlampau excited ! ) duhh. Other than that yang OK for me, I suka jugak pergi .. branch SSF Cheras n Puchong. As I mentioned in my previous post regarding SSF, kadang2 diorang display items yang berlainan depends on stock.. so rajin2kan survey dua tiga tempat before beli !

Since SSF yng kt Damansara ni just nearby my house .. memang x jauh, just 10mins jer... I selalu jgk pergi, senang ! Tapi kat sini tak semua barang ada , byk jual brng2 perabot. Kalau nak beli benda2 decorations etc, building lagi satu yang opposite, across the road.

Gambar2 yang I nak share ni sebenarnya a few things yang I jatuh hati .. dah lama usha tapi x beli2 pun ! hehe ;) Kumpul sikit2, but the stocks are limited. Especially items yang gila2 reduced price. Semenjak I duk ulang alik pegi SSF, I rasa dari bulan 5 lg I start survey barang rumah.. now, ada certain items yang further mark down ! Sekarang ni diorang nak clear kan stock lama, byk barang baru dah masuk store skarang ni and harga pun reasonable sikit tak macam barang lama tu.. haii pengsan di buatnya.

The gritty textures tu rasa best jer nak pijak... my dreaming nak buat lantai kayu mcm ni ! But I think its solid and not laminated flooring.. I dah survey the price. .. and memang TOTALLY takde budget ! *sobs*

 Display dekat curtain area. FYI, I tempah sebijik sebijan macam curtain tu for my dining area. No Choice ! since kain tu jer the only piece yang I berkenan kat situ. Dear, SSF...Please bring back more English design curtain !!

Their range of artificial flowers mmg takde challenge lagi .. high quality + great imitations + super beautiful ! equals to VERY pricey .. but worth it ! Tak byk I snap.. dah nama curik2 kan, jadi sambil2 berlakon jer la I snap hee hee

Dining chairs yang latest, pic left and top right. Sgt cantik kan.. that curvy design nampak sgt feminine pulak I tgk chairs tu..SSF mmg byk design their furnitures more to French style... which I Heart, Damn Much ! The price is rm500+/chair if Im not mistaken! Last time, I aim nak beli yang in picture bottom right, the normal price is rm1k+/chair but dah further reduced to rm500+ ... tp last week I pgi balik. dah SOLD OUT ! hampeh betol !

I rasa dah byk yang Sold Out. This pic was taken 7 months ago ;) I dah rembat sebijik yang two settee tu.. saper2 nak sewa untuk pelamin boleh laa .. hukhuk (dalam hati sayang nyaa)

Love that french settee, but its too expensive and tak padan dgn my house ;p Tunggu dah tua2 sikit kut baru boleh beli rasanya ... *tension*

This settee kat SSF Bandar Sri Damansara. I always lovee white furnitures but for settee a NO NO for me sbb I ada baby, nanti nak tambah lagi... takut cepat kotor ;(

 Too GLAMM ! Mcm sesuai Kimora atau Kim Kardashian jer yang tido atas katil ni .. hehe.

Katil2 ni display dekat SSF Robsons Height. Price dah further mark down to rm3k++. Normal price was 10k++ kut, I dah lupa. Patot laa x laku... mahal sgt tapi  Lawa giler ! Saper2 pengantin baru nak cari katil, memang sesuai sgt. I nak beli, tapi dah ada katil kan ... so pendam dalam hati je laa

p/s: Walau apa pun yang terjadi, I nak usahakan jugak untuk dapatkan that French Dining Chairs ! My hubby memang xnak layan sebab mahal sgt ! So nak tak nak, I kena usaha sendiri *sobs*

Till then .. nanti I update lg eh ... my baby dah nangis pulaak dah *sigh*

Pregnancy Chapter 1 ~ Summary

Today nk bebel psl during pregnancy.. Anak dh masuk 4months + br nk citer !

Not much to say, just a summary of it ;)

Alhamdulillah, during pregnancy nothing serious happened to me .. Cuma minor accident my jari terkena gunting time buat padded hanger. Thats not the pregnancy symptom .. thats CARELESS ! haha. I will story about the tragedy next time !

Before that, let me show u a few pics of me, during pregnant... muka selebet,...

 @38 weeks ! and if u notice, my jari telunjuk berbalut sbb luka kena gunting *sobs*

Actually tak rmi my friends yang tau I pregnant time awal2... coz I never mentioned to anyone especially FB friends la kan, so when I first published my pic which was at 28weeks preggie = 7months lebey kurang ... everyone was suprised ! I mmg xsuka crita sgt especially when it comes to something yang vulnerable ( I cant find the exact word to say it) but someting yng you might not know what will happen next ... ada org at 7 mnths preggie pun still boleh gugur kan ? nothing impossible.. so just beringat selalu.. dont be too excited.

First Trimester: When I first found out that I was pregnant, at that time dh masuk 4 weeks preggie ... tp seingat I , I baru jer dtg period... actually even U dah conceived, U akan dtg period sekali lg ..thats why I think edd tu dia calculate by first day of your last period ! I didnt expect that to be happened, coz mmg I x ready lg ... mmg takut + risau mcm2 perasaan bercampur baur... sampai 2 x I check guna pregnancy test kat rumah. sebab sgt2 tak percaya. Rasa nak check sbb second period terlambat ... and asyik rasa nak pee ! Pastu bawah rahim ni rasa tak selesa ... kembang berdengung semacam. 

Tidur malam mmg smpai 2-3 x bgn untuk pee... mmg terganggu tidurku huhu ;( During this phase, Alhamdulillah I x de rasa loya / muntah2 pun. Cuma berat sgt dlm kepala n badan... banyak sgt angin ! End up, I akan baring n tidur jer the whole day :( Berkat kesabaran ... awal2 ni mmg byk kena sabar ... just imagine that there's another soul developing inside our tummy ! Our body x biasa lagi ... tp habis jer first trimester... getting better ! I read from a book, masa awal2, mmg pregnant mother akan pk yang bukan2 .. and had nightmares mcm2 .. and that happened to me ! Selalau rs risaau sgt pasal baby takut jadi mcm tu mcm ni ... DOA N Prayer is the best remedy. Dgn doa, hati jadi tenang .. semuanya berserah jer kepada Allah.

Second Trimester: Ok after dah nak masuk 5 bulan .... baru ada mood sikit ! Baru rs nak shopping brng2 baby ... tapi I beli sikit2... sbb gender tak tau lagi. My gynae buat 4D scan masa 6 months coz dia kata baru accurate.. xpayah nk buat byk2 kali. Dari awal lagi my instinct rasa my baby is a BOY ... and yess time scan pun the gynae ckp boy.. happy ;)) Mmg I dr kecik nak baby boy ... sukaa. Kalau di takdirkan dpt another boy pun OK.. I suker :)

Third Trimester: At this stage... makin berdebar ... but steady jer. Just go witht the flow. Walau risau mcm mana pun still kena hadapi jgk ... time2 akhir nk deliver, 2-3 hari sblom... I kluar lendir + darah. Orang2 tua bg istilah kembar darah and usually, orang yang dah experience melahirkan byk anak,  orng yang kembar darah .. saat melahirkan mmg sakit gila ! Couldnt imagine at that time .. mana la tau kan sbb tak berpengalaman lg. 

I check up kat tawakal hospital, Jalan Pahang with DR. Siti Zaleha. I can say the most fav. gynae there sbb she's the only female gynae at tawakkal and mmg jadual dia sgt pack, lama tunggu nk jumpa dia. Kena dtg seawal pagi if you taknak tunggu lama2. She's very kind and gentle person ... kalau saper2 nak bersalin dgn dia ... Normal rm4k , c-sec min 9k kut ... Tapi I x bersalin dgn dia ... nanti I crita next time my pengalaman bersalin.

Sepanjang pregnant, memang I x control pasal pemakanan, smua pun I bedal .. kecuali benda2 yang tajam je lah... air coke /pepsi and such bedal gak .. heehee. From one source that I read, the placenta will actually filter all things dlm body kita except, virus HIV, nicotine and alcohol ... correct me if Im wrong !

Pastu, everyday I xleh kalau x minum nescafe ! I asked my gyane, she said OK if ambik xlebih dr 4 cups/day ... I ambik 1 mug jer sehari nescafe breakfast. She said, nescafe tu anti oxidant, ok la ambik sekali sehari to fresh up ur day ;p  Never had experienced kena minum air gula , Alhamdulillah ... everytime check kandungan gula dlm air kencing, normal ! Pregnant mothers out there.. yang takde experience lagi ... control ur sugar intake  ! N dont be too stress k.. sbb high blood pressure during pregnancy pun sgt dangerous to ur baby ;) Time pregnant, my weight gain pun bersakala baikk ! hehe.. cuma awal2 jer naik terus 4 kg (dah kena sound awal2 dgn DR. ) .. pastu yang seterusnya ok jer .. xnaik byk sgt. Total weight gained, 10 kgs

For those yang suka sushi / sashimi ... like me ! I makan jer sushi n sashimi tu jarang2 ... was scared to eat that raw fish and such before.. but Alhamdulillah my baby was born healthy ;)

Lagi satu time pregnant, I mmg suka minum Yogurt drinks ( mmg routine pun) , and once told by an Ustaz (anak buah Tok guru Nik Aziz Nik Mat), minum air kelapa bagus for pregnant mothers sbb anak jadi cerdik ... selalu jgk dgr from experienced mothers pasal tu , n jd mudah bersalin , so mmg I selalu jgk minum air kelapa ... ;) InsyaAllah moga2 anak I pun cerdik jgk  ;p

Uissk dah panjang sgt cerita .. time belaja kat skolah dulu, usually a  summary should  not be not more than 180 words jer kebiasaan nya.. tp I know dah terlebey sudah .. ye laa summary spanjang 9 months kan, panjang lor skit  ! Nanti len x I story mory lagi pasal pengalaman I ok. Its time for lunch ! :) 

But before I end up this post ... here's a pic of my lil sweetheart , Umar Kaashif at 4 months old ! ;) I called him kaashif since the meaning of it, is 'discoverer' .. hoping and praying that he'll discover something benificial to human beings, someday !  LOL . Jgn time baby ni sgt suka discover something new,  smpai rumah I nanti bersepahh sudahh huhu

Curtain Hunting ~ Laura Ashley

In my previous post, I citer pasal curtain ...

Its about curtain again ! But this one is from Laura Ashley. If you all pernah survey curtains, and other stuffs at Laura Ashley, you all dah sedia maklum la kan.. everytime tgk price tag dia mmg smpai terbeliak kluaa bijik mata ni. Some stuffs quite ok jer not too pricey... tgk barang la jgk kan ! I think their stuffs are expensive coz they r imported from London, hence the price tag. One thing for sure, mmg sgt2 cantikkk , very the English! 

 All Laura Ashley stores are having SALES right now, quite a crazy sale I would say up to 70%! off!  till end of this year. I end up buying two design fabrics, one for curtain n another one tu sajer2 nk simpan for upcoming projects. Beli dulu, then pk kemudian apa nk buat dgn kain tuu heee ~ :D

Fabric for curtain yang I beli tu ada 70% off ! The original price was about rm200+/mtr ! Can u imagineee that !?!! I need about 12 mtrs untk lngsir sliding door 7x 8 feet. So calculate it yourself if I beli yang rm200+/mtr.. pengsan !This one yang I beli pun after less jadi lebey kurang RM80.90/mtr., bidang 55''

Semuaa selections yang paling cantik, ada sikit jer less huhu.. so I end up buying yang biasa2 jer.. but still caught my eyes. The colour is a khaki colour with teal large roses pattern. Spot in the picture above  ;) No choice. duhh ! Hopefully after dah siap jahit ok laa... I hantar jahit kat tailor Laura Ashley.

There'll be a new Laura Ashley store, opening this coming 10th Dec, 2011 at one utama outlet, old wing, Ground Floor. Lots and lots of new stuffs will be in stores ! Cant wait to see the new range of wallpapers coz I Intend to get wallpapers for my room ! For those who are looking for wallpapers, check out Laura Ashley's wallpaper at 30% off for old design. Original price is rm109. The latest collection for sure takde less, price per roll is rm99. One roll is 10mtrs long , width approximately 1/2mtrs. If you wanna buy, number of rolls would be different for each designs, depending on its pattern repeat. Sbb pattern repeat ni la yang jadi masalah kena beli lebih roll ! *sigh * Anyhoo, will update regarding wallpaper... soon !

Curtain Hunting ~ SSF Curtain

Hi ladies , I should say welcome again to my blog! This is considered as my first post after that introduction right ? huhu. Lets put aside about my story yg dah basi  (pregnancy n baby ) first, and begin with my current updates now which is mencari barang2 for my new house ! ;) In this post, nak cerita pasal curtain !!

Im currently sooo bz these few days, bz with my make up job hujung minggu... + survey brng2 for my new houzee oh yeaah! Rumaah biasa jer ... no fulus nk beli besaq2.. skrg ni dlm KL hrga smpai berjutaa .. mak aihh, mana nk cekau duit sebanyak tuu !!? Muda2 ni, rumah biasa2 dah la.. janji 'home sweet home' .. boleh decorate ikut taste sendiri! ;)

Ok so I survey a few places in KL for curtain.Curtain ooh curtain... awat laa yang smua I berkenan, semuanya mahal .. *sigh* yupp curtain mmg mahal laa you all. Upah mmg x mahal sgt... cuma harga kain yang best, design cantik2 mmg rata2 mahal ! I suka curtain designs from Elyza's, and Laura Ashley ... yng nmpak english skit mmg I suka ! Been to SSF as well, at Sg. Buloh, Cheras, Puchong, Robsons Height, list jaa smua SSF KL ni mmg I dah jejak survey brg2. Because , FYI, each branch maybe ada diff design yang mana kain2 tu still x laku / still in stock ! Tapi kalau nak upah tu... mana2 pon boleh... same jer, cuma kena ambik code. SSF Curtain at Robson's Height yang paling besar sekali, ada byk stock kain curtain yang xlaku. I ni mmg suka sgt2 pegi SSF... pegi beribu kali pun xprnah rs boring ! All of their stuffs are sooo breathtaking!

Yang sakit skit, sbb my house semuanya sliding doors.. so you know what, a sliding door requires more kain and upah pun a bit expensive worr.. ikut berapa kaki. Each patern upah lain2, so that one I cant tell you here, you yourself have to go and ask for the quotations according to the selected kain, and curtain pattern ;) As for me, I suka yang simple jer, french pleat biasa.. buat triple pleat sbb kalau kedut byk lagi cntik ;) Actually I mmg reti jahit sendiri, tp kalau sliding door, susah nak handle...  besar ! So pk2 baik I upah jer huhu.

After I did a few surveys and calculations, I buat conclusion, SSF curtain paling muurah ! if  u all cari kain yang mcm I pilih la... Ada jer byk yang offer lagi murah kain, tp design x cantik sgt.  Kat Jakel pun banyak from less pricey to very expensive .. for sure laa kalau dh mahal tu mmg cntik ! SSF curtain ni jadi murah skit  pun after Less la kan.. masa I buat booking hr tu ada less 30% for kain yang I nak... cuma skrg ni, SSF punya kain x cantik mcm dulu sbb diorang ckp skrng orang cari yang more to modern contemporary. Last time diorang stock up byk English designs .. tp skrang dah kureng... sedih ;(  So I chose yang simple jer for dining room. and master bedroom . Senang nak match! Actually sikit jer choice kat SSF ni, but what to do.. klu order byk at one place baru la diorang xde service charge!  So I decided smua curtain including sheer tmpah SSF and lagi satu for the second room I beli yang Laura Ashley since skrg tgh crazy sale  till end of dec ! Ill story about laura ashley in my next post !  ;) Nanti once dah siap, Ill update in my blog ya..

Most of the curtain displayed at the showroom actually dah hbs stock! Stock yang baru x berapa cantik sgt for me, but if you pandai mix n match, Im sure the end resuts will b great ! I suka the workmanship, nmpak kemas.. but shouldnt make any judgement yet.. not until I received mine ! :) Will review regarding that soon yeehaaw :))

Say HI to my Second Blog ! ;)

Hi all, and welcome to my second blog ! Actually mmg dah lamaaaa sgt nk build a new blog nak share about my new life with my baby and other things that I do as hobbies  ;) This one mmg nak buat bahasa rojak,.. sbb I rasa kalau bhs rojak ni lg best nak baca btol x ;p Lagi satu I xnak campur2 dlm blog make up, nanti kucar kacir.. orng susah nak separate bahan bacaan yang x de pekdah pun sbnrnya, huhu.. tp hopefully mine is gonna be something yang orng boleh buat rujukan jgk sikit2, ambik inspirations and selain tu maybe u all pun boleh share dgn I apa yng I xtau pasal apa2 jer .. maybe ? Blog ni dgn kata lain, blog suka suki ckp ntah apa2, mcm laa my life interesting sgt kan ? To be honest, not that interesting pon ! Tapi kalau sesiapa shj yang suka bazir masa.. boleh visit this blog huhu

For those yang baru nak berjinak2 dgn my blog, fyi I just delivered a baby boy on 23rd, July, 2011. He's now dah 4 months old ! Dah besaar dah br nak share2 story pasal pregnancy, baby and such ! Im sorry if cerita tu dah basi but maybe berguna for those yang baru nk sambut kelahiran kan.. xsalah kut share pengalaman I kat sini ;)

Dah laama nak cerita, but nak wat camana time I balik pantang kt kota bharu hari tu, takde internet kat rumah parents I, since after I got married.. I ikut husband I ..
